ASA Electronics COVID-19 Visitor Guidelines-June 2020

Date

5/28/2020

ASA Electronics has laid out new safety guidelines for employees and visitors alike as Elkhart County and the surrounding area loosen COVID-19 restrictions. The safety of our employees and customers is our top priority and we ask that any visitors to our building abide by the following guidelines:

  • Plan ahead. Visitors will NOT be allowed into any ASA Electronics facilities without making an appointment. Additionally, we will be changing the entrance and exit points of the building to streamline the screening process and limit traffic flow. Please make sure you know which entrance to use.
  • Check in. All visitors and employees will be screened before being allowed entrance into the building. The screening process includes recording temperature and a personal health statement. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be permitted to enter the building. Due to the many different ways that the COVID-19 virus may present itself in different people, we need to be overly cautious, even if we don’t think we have the virus.
  • Keep your distance. We are asking all of our visitors and employees to maintain 6 feet of “social distance” whenever possible and practical.
  • Cover up. Masks are mandatory for all visitors and ASA Electronics will provide masks for visitors who do not bring their own. Masks are for the protection of others, in the case that you have COVID-19 and are asymptomatic (not feeling sick), not the other way around.

While we are allowing visitors to our facilities, we would also like to encourage the continued use of virtual meetings whenever possible.

We are also asking all employees and visitors who believe they may have encountered the virus, have a fever or are otherwise feeling under the weather to please stay home.
Thank you for your patience and partnership as we continue to navigate our new normal.
